Memory Card
After the shoot day, we began the post-production process. The first step I did was to upload the footage from the Lexar Pro memory card onto the IMac computer which stored all of our work.

Computer
In the post-production stage, I used an IMac computer to edit my product on the software Adobe Premiere Pro. Our opening sequence was saved onto the IMac, therefore, allowing us to edit over the course of two weeks.

Adobe Premiere Pro
I edited my opening sequence on Adobe Premiere Pro where I used the rushes, folders, timeline, toolbar and different features of the software. The previous editing workshops I completed helped my confidence with using this software where I was able to cut different shots together such as a mid-shot to a close up to create the desired look my production group wanted. The most challenging part to edit was the action sequence where the victim character gets hit by the villain character on the shoe with the hammer prop. This was a scene where the editing on the software needed to be done very carefully to create a seamless look therefore continuity was key. Therefore, we cut from a close-up to a mid-shot, another close-up, mid-shot, close up, to a wide shot with a short shot duration to create a fast paced-editing scene to emphasise the action and intensity. After editing our timeline, we added the sound using the same software where we used a soundtrack of coffeehouse jazz music which we had converted to an MP3 format to add to the software. We also used some sound effects which were a feature of Adobe Premiere Pro therefore we layered multiple sounds over each which was a crunchy sound effect of a dog eating food, a sound effect of a metal hammer being hit and a sound effect of a wooden hammer being hit to create the desired sound effect of the victim being punched. After completing the sound and picture, I began to add the credits for our opening sequence which we did by inserting them onto the timeline after we had chosen the names we wanted to use to display the titles. We edited the font, size and placement for each credit and the duration each title would be displayed for. My knowledge of using Adobe Premiere Pro developed from the previous editing workshops I completed as I had never worked with adjusting titles and adding non-diegetic soundtracks to my product.
